A Young Woman’s Courageous Battle
At only 20 years old, Avery White has faced more challenges than most people do in a lifetime. Weighing just 77 pounds, her body has been weakened by gastroparesis, lupus, Raynaud’s disease, and catastrophic APS. But despite the pain and endless hospital stays, Avery’s faith and courage remain unshaken.

From Dreams to Difficulties
Avery once lived like any other young woman—studying in college and working at her favorite coffee shop. But her health battles forced her to leave both behind.
By January of this year, chemotherapy became her only option. And even when she looked forward to moments of joy, like the Rock the South festival, her health took another heartbreaking turn.
Doctors soon discovered serious heart complications: an enlarged heart, fluid in her lungs, and valve problems. What followed was 57 days of hospital stays, surgeries, and countless treatments.
Facing Life-Threatening Challenges
Over the years, Avery has endured:

Multiple organ failures
And yet, through it all, she continues to smile, inspire, and fight.
Now, Avery is preparing for open-heart surgery to replace her mitral valve. Her family and community are praying for a safe surgery and quick recovery.

Even in the darkest storms, Avery leans on her faith. She believes that God is walking beside her every step of the way.
