8 Body Wraps That Can Help You Sculpt Your Body Like Clay

Body wraps are very effective for isolated areas because they make you sweat and the pores open, absorbing all the good stuff. The purpose for doing this can vary from wanting to lose weight, detox, or nourish the skin, but the experts believe that the effect is similar to visiting a spa but much cheaper. You may feel like a human burrito, but the benefits are definitely worth it.

We at Bright Side are always looking for effective and simple practices to stay healthy and can’t wait to show this selection to all of you.

1. Melt stubborn fat with ginger.

Ginger has been known for its beneficial properties for the skin: it tones it, improves its elasticity, and increases blood circulation. All these things can help you to get rid of stubborn fat thanks to these ginger wraps.

2. Soften your skin with coconut oil.

Coconut oil works really well for softening and smoothing the skin because of its moisturizing and hydrating characteristics. If you want to nourish your skin, try this body wrap.

3. Mask cellulite with apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar has multiple vitamins and minerals and other goodies. This mixture is great for increasing blood circulation and works great when it comes to dealing with cellulite and stubborn fat.

Please note: This recipe may not be suitable for sensitive skin!

4. Detox and tone your skin with dead sea salt.

Dead sea salt tones, firms, and tightens the problem area. This recipe is great for detoxing and toning and helps to fight cellulite. Of course, you cannot expect a miracle, as cellulite is a very hard thing to get rid of, but using it in addition to a balanced diet and regular exercise will speed up results.

5. Get baby-like skin with honey and aloe vera.

Honey brings lots of nutrition to the skin and aloe vera is great for moisturizing, so the mixture of the 2 together will do a wonderful job to hydrate your skin and fill it with all sorts of nourishing components.

6. Hydrate and nourish your skin with cocoa, banana, and honey.

All these ingredients do wonders for the skin, especially when used as a body wrap. Cocoa is full of antioxidants and is also good at hydrating the skin. Bananas have vitamins A and E, and honey has excellent moisturizing and soothing characteristics.

7. Sculpt your body with clay.

This recipe is very effective for detoxing and as a result, makes you appear slimmer. Of course, it would be unfair to promise you a miracle since clay wraps can’t burn fat. Remember that it only removes excess water and has a short-term effect, but it’s good to keep handy for special occasions.

8. Make stretch marks less visible with Vaporub.

Vaporub contains some ingredients that are very beneficial for the skin like camphor, eucalyptus oil, and menthol which softens the skin and improves its elasticity. This recipe will make stretch marks less visible. Of course, it won’t fix it overnight because stretch marks signify deep damage in the skin and you may have to do the wrap quite a few times. But it certainly is worth giving it a go.

What do you think about our selection? Would you try any of these wraps? Do you know other effective recipes for body wraps? We’d all love to find out more about what you know in the comments, so don’t forget to write down below!
