Manhattan Installs Punching Bags To Provide Relief to Frustrated New Yorkers

In a crowded place like New York, tempers are always on the fringe. With such flaring tempers, one needs to actively seek therapy for anger management. But recently, the Manhattan district of New York decided to install Punching bags on the roads where angry and frustrated commuters can come and vent their feelings.

The pollution, the traffic jams, the noise, the collisions, all serve to make a street on Monday morning a tumbling pressure cooker. For this very reason, a USA design studio has constructed a cathartic punching bag to be used on most Manhattan streets for people to take their frustration out.
This quirky initiative by the Savannah, Georgia based studio called don't take this the wrong way was a part of the NYCxDESIGN, or the New York City Design Week 2019, and was released to the public as a catharsis to their pent up frustrations in a communal space.
And if you are confused as to why there is a presence of a yellow square punching bag on your way to work, simply read the board attached to it, which would ask you to punch it and release your frustrations.
