“Ooh, it’s cold. I’m glad we’re wearing our coats.”
But then, noticing the slick surface of the steps, he turned to his wife with a cautionary warning:
“Ooh, careful.”
The protective remark has drawn attention online, with many noting Trump’s concern for Melania’s safety in a high-profile and heavily scrutinized setting.
What’s Next for the Trumps in the UK
On Wednesday, Trump will receive a formal royal welcome, including a salute fired simultaneously from Windsor Castle’s east lawn and the Tower of London. The Trumps will then join King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate in a carriage procession through the Windsor estate.
Interestingly, while the US President and First Lady are in London, no formal public engagements are scheduled in the capital itself. Instead, the visit will remain centered on Windsor and the Royal Family.
